A good director has knowledge of all the disciplines involved in filmmaking. I’ve been lucky enough to gain knowledge through experience. Here’s a selection of my non-directing film work:
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT/PRODUCTION MANAGER
Credits include Warp Films, Pulse Films, Walt Disney Television International, Volts Pictures, and several award winning films for Caravan Films.
CINEMATOGRAPHY
In addition to these two projects, I have also freelanced for other films, documentaries, fashion shoots and live events, including Next, Freemans and The Guardian.
Kubrick
The film was commissioned by Channel 4 in association with World of Wonder Productions for the 3 Minute Wonder shorts strand. Aired on Channel Four and More Four during July.
Tony Kaye about Kubrick
This film came about out of the wealth of excellent material generated by the Kubrick project.
PRODUCTION DESIGN
Liberty “Human Rights” Commercial
Produced by DNR Films, this cinema commercial stars Simon Callow and Riz Ahmed. I did art direction and I also built props.
One Night at the Inn
Iron Lion Films present the short film by Mike Carr starring Felix Bell and David Sterne.
‘One night a country inn landlord takes offense when someone refuses to try one of his ‘award winning’ pies’
I did art direction/production design.
Welcome to Neverland

Roaring Heaven
A short independent film shot on super 16mm. I did production design and costume.
Doggy Style
Mixed media live action and animation short film. I did production design and art directing, including prop building and creating prothsetic limbs.
As a director I am very involved in the production design on my films. For example, I art directed much of Temptation (feature) and designed the swimming costumes and bathing caps for the swimming team in The Drowners (short), which the swimming team Aquabatix have gone on to use in other performances.
DVD PRODUCTION
WAM is the brainchild of International Editorial hairstylist, Neil Moodie, and Paul Windle, owner of London’s famed Windle Salon. Together they offer a revolutionary range of professional hair styling products previously available to only the finest salons and to celebrated hairstylists, including a hairdryer, a diffuser, curling irons and straightening irons. I produced, directed, shot and edited a full length DVD to promote the products.
